The Thinking Blogger Award

Kenny Mah gets to eat first because he gave me this award. Thank you, thank you. He was also awarded this
by a fellow blogger Ruby Ahmad, other awardees are Dina Zaman, Yang-May Ooi, Kak Teh, mrshbt, sharanya, Leen, Zewt and Bibliobibuli. Since the only people I know are Kak Teh and Kenny Mah himself, I decided to go visiting those other people, wow, I was sure impress, errrr....how in the world did a Kopi Soh like myself oso get this award??? On second thoughts dun care lah, as long as award got my name I gong bin (thick face) rush over and pick it up, no questions ask.
This award was started here. You have to award five others whose blog you think
deserve this award. Should you choose to participate, please make sure you pass
this list of rules to the blogs you are tagging.
The participation rules are simple:
- If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme. - Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote.
- Please, remember to tag blogs with real merits, i.e. relative content, and above all — blogs that really get you thinking!
So after thinking long and hard I would like to give this award to the following people:
Victor, my German Sausage Hawker, he definitely makes me think with his ever
amusing posts. Although I have just gotten to know him fairly recently I feel that he is someone who takes the time to answer my questions and sometimes ask even more questions that makes me think deeper about a certain topic. He can be both funny, sarcastic and supportive as well. So "old dog" I believe since you have succeeded in creating a "good blog", you deserve this award.
Mumsgather, my sifu, I give her this award not because she is my good friend but also because her blog makes me ponder issues that I take for granted. She has several blogs to satisfy her different split personalities. Visit her “Blogs I Write” page to find out about the blogs that she writes and I am sure you will fully agree with me that she deserves this award.

Chris, what I can say about my pumpkin noodle hawker, his blog is like a buffet to me, he talks about his family, he talks about food, he has humor, he has insight, he talks personal stuff too, in short he "blabber on about anything under the sun". One day he will cover Miss Singapore Universe 2007, the next day he'll tell you "reasons why I dun wan to fren you oredi".

Yenjai, he is a doctor yet whenever I visit him I don't intimidated, I am not afraid to ask him things or leave comments. His posts are always short and sweet. He sometimes shares his life as a doctor, he shares the movies he watches with you, he shares funny patient stories, in short he is definitely my cup of tea and in my eyes deserves this award.
Eastcoastlife - Although I've just gotten to know this "hot mama blogger", how can I not give her this award when she writes about things like "Sexual fantasies of women", and "Quest for superman", she talks about topics that my friends and I currently discussed during our girls' night out and get-togethers, heck she even tells you why she condones polygamy and brave enough to own up that if anyone were to cheat in her relationship, it might be her.
It took me awhile to narrow down to these five bloggers, I was so honored to receive this award from Kenny Mah that I wanted to make sure I give it some serious thought before passing this honor on to five other bloggers.

18 orders:
WOW. Award for me! What an honour. Thank you thank you. (Like you, I quickly go pick up the award before you change your mind)
Woah, do I really deserve this award? You see me too up already lah. Maybe if it's Sarcastic Award I can accept. LOL
Die, still got one given by a friend last week haven't do chyet. My homework is piling up. Dunch know when can fulfill your order leh. I thought I only need to sell my sausage here? Haha.
One question I forgot to ask - most bloggers whose writings make me think don't know me personally. Even if they do, I believe most thinkers are not doers (me being an exception). So how do I tag them hah? Write about them and link their blogs shouldn't be any problem. But don't tag them can or not?
Hmm.... *taps fingers* You aren't giving me this award now just to cheer me up and make me happy are you? Hehehe.
Oh my! A Thinking Blogger Award. Thanks.

Wow, impressive award. Congrats. I hope to be consistent enough like you to be nominated for something so prestigious.
Translate "kopi tiam" for me.
Martin Lindsey: Welcome to my humble blog. Wikipedia definition:-
A kopi tiam is a traditional breakfast and coffee shop found in Malaysia and Singapore in Southeast Asia. The word is a portmanteau of the Malay word for coffee (as borrowed and altered from the Portuguese) and the Hokkien dialect word for shop is "tiam". Menus typically feature simple offerings: a variety of foods based on egg, toast, plus coffee, tea, and Milo, a malted chocolate drink which is extremely popular in Southeast Asia, particularly Singapore and Malaysia.
In short a kopitiam is a hangout kinda like Starbucks except the food and coffee is better :P
Come back when you have some free time, kick back and relax. The coffee here is always on the house. LOL
Hi Firehorse, this is a revenge of sorts - you've been tagged. Visit my blog post here for details. Do at your time (or not at all, do I look like I care? Hahaha).
